Jazz vs. classical
Jazz-loving cat vs. classical-loving mice. Slapstick ensues. The timing of the animation to the final music is perfect.

From the Golden Age of Movie Theater Cartoons
Such is evident in the superior quality and imagination of this short. I don't know if we will ever see cartoons made this way again. Thank goodness for the Internet Archive we can still see what's left of that generation.
